Maintaining that better road communication plays a vital role in the socio-economic development of the people of an area, Sarpanch Badrinath Panchayat Halqa Kotli Shah Doula today said that the BJP Government has formulated a comprehensive plan to provide improved road connectivity to the people of J&K especially living in rural and border areas.Sarpanch was interacting with people of Panchayat after kick-starting the work of blacktopping on road at Village railway line Kuttian in Panchayat Kotli Shah Doula. Prominent among those present on the occasion include Panch Pyara Singh, Distt SC Morcha President BJP Badhur Lal, kisssan Morcha President BJP Ghar Singh Chark, BJP Distt Vice President Ashok Choudhary, Lal Singh, Suraj Parkash beside others.Speaking on the occasion, Sarpanch said that the improved road connectivity enhances accessibility, mobility and promotes economic activities. He said that a plan has been framed to provide well-knit road connectivity in the area. He said that almost all road links of the area have been blacktopped and rest of them to be taken up for blacktopping very soon.He said that development of rural and far-off areas is the top priority of the Government adding that up-grading road infrastructure is receiving main focus. He said that all important roads will be up-graded/blacktopped across the Panchayat for which the Government has formulated an ambitious plan.He said all the developmental works in Panchayat will be fast paced so that these can be completed in a time bound manner. He said that no compromise will be made with the quality of the work.He said the Government has taken various initiatives to provide all-weather road connectivity to people of J&K with emphasis on rural and border areas. Sharma said BJP is committed to work for masses and wherever possible we are trying our level best to provide the best infrastructure to the inhabitants of Panchayat so that public distress could be avoided”. He stated that he has been following his daily routine to interact with hundreds of people every day and visiting various areas of Panchayat on daily basis is his topmost agenda so that he could personally interact with them and know about their problems which are also solved on priority, he added.
