The Union Cabinet meeting is underway in New Delhi.
On June 3, Prime Minister Narendra Modi had chaired a meeting of Union Cabinet at 7 Lok Kalyan Marg. Union Ministers Nirmala Sitharaman, Smriti Irani and Ravi Shankar Prasad were among those present at the meeting.
On June 1, the Union Cabinet approved the modalities for implementing Rs 50,000 crore equity infusion to support Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs), which was announced last month as part of Atmanirbhar Bharat Package to help the sector cope up with the situation created by COVID-19. (ANI)
