J&K Police has solved a theft case registered at Police Station Samba, arrested three thieves/receiver of stolen property and recovered stolen items. On 07.05.2024, a written complaint was lodged at Police Station Samba by one Kulbhushan K. Sambyal regarding theft of sanitaryware and other household items from the house of his brother at Sangwali Mandi, Samba during the intervening night.
Acting over the complaint, a case FIR No. 133/2024 u/s 457/380 IPC got registered at Police Station Samba and investigation started.
During the course of investigation, Samba Police arrested two accused namely Aman Singh @ Shani S/o Jameet Singh R/o Mandi Pushwalian, Samba and Adhitya Singh Sambyal @ Honey S/o Anil Singh R/o Mandi Sangwali, Samba and were put to sustained questioning. On their disclosure, the stolen property was recovered from the scrap shop of one Bilal Ali S/o Babar Ali R/o Bawana, J.J Colony North West Delhi A/P SIDCO Phase-I, Samba located at SIDCO Phase-I Samba. The co accused Bilal Ali was also arrested as dishonest receiver of stolen property in the instant case u/s 411 IPC. Further investigation of the case is going on.
