An Ex-Servicemen meet was organised in Kakora, Rajouri as a pre-cursor of the silver jubilee of the Kargil Vijay Diwas, and to remember the brave heart of Indian Army. The attendees were ‘All ranks’, members of the Zila Sainik Board and 75 Ex Servicemen of the area. The event fostered a sense of camaraderie solidarity among Veterans and acknowledging their invaluable contribution to the Nation’s Defense. The gathering also aimed at addressing the issues faced by veterans and served as a platform for former military personnel to voice their concerns and seek solutions from the authorities. Various topics were discussed including pension benefits, healthcare provisions, employment opportunities, and support for veteran’s families.
The army reaffirmed its commitment to ensure the welfare and well-being of its retired members, pledging to address grievances promptly and effectively. The event concluded with a renewed sense of unity and purpose among the ex-servicemen, as they continue to serve their country even beyond their active duty day.
