Mission Director, Jal Jeevan Mission (JJM), J&K, Mr. Khurshid Ahmad Shah (JKAS) today chaired a virtual review meeting with District Project Management Units (DPMUs) of the UT. He directed officials to expedite the creation of online dashboards for public access to JJM implementation data, ensuring transparency at the grassroots level.
The MD reviewed the status of Panchayat Secretary IDs, Har Ghar Jal certifications, and water quality monitoring. He emphasized timely resolution of quality issues by tapping alternate sources and mandated bi-monthly water testing in schools and Anganwadi centers.
Mr. Shah also directed the DPMUs to complete geo-tagging of assets and sources within the stipulated timeframe. The meeting was attended by Technical Advisors of Kashmir and Jammu, Technical Officers, and I/C DPMUs.
