Desperation at their inability to revive violence in recent years has resulted in the Pakistani agents throwing a grenade in Srinagar’s Lal Chowk. They killed one and injured 24 Kashmiris, who were moving around for work and happily. The grenade blast scared the little children moving with mothers for life; it left a Kashmiri dead and others injured in body and scarred minds. Why would a person throw a grenade on common people whom he doesn’t even know or is remotely connected with? The person can only be a devil with a sick mind or paid by the enemies of India and people of Kashmir. Spilling human blood when spring has just touched the land and revived our hopes for a good season – bountiful crops, tourism flourishing and businesses doing well – can only be the handiwork of an enemy. There is no way the grenade throwers will escape. Soon they would be identified and prosecuted.
