In a vibrant celebration of International Yoga Day 2024, the Vishwa Yog Sansthan has organized a three-day Yoga camp at the serene Har Ki Pouri in Jammu. The event has drawn a diverse group of participants and notable figures, emphasizing the importance of yoga, Ayurveda, and spiritualism in modern life.
The highlight of the event was the inaugural ceremony attended by senior BJP leader and former Deputy Chief Minister, Kavinder Gupta, who served as the Chief Guest. The camp was graced by the presence of esteemed personalities such as Yog Guru Karan Singh, former Corporator Sham Basson, retired Judge Om Parkash Sharma, Bansi Lal Gupta, Sunny Sangotra, Subash Chander, Karuna Chettri, Suresh Sharma, Balkar Singh, Leela Chettri, Sham Lal, Mukesh Kumar, and Banu Partap Singh.
In his address, Kavinder Gupta underscored the unparalleled contributions of Indian ancient health sciences to global well-being.
“Yoga, Ayurveda, and spiritualism, along with meditation, form a powerful combination that guarantees human well-being,” he said, adding “It is a matter of immense pride for every Indian that these are among the greatest gifts India has bestowed upon mankind.”
