Officials of J&K Housing Board and police on late Saturday night with heavy security contingent reached at Gole Market in posh Gandhi Nagar area to retrieve the prime land.
A large number of families assembled to protest and stop Officials. However the work was resumed in the morning and labourers, heavy machinery, JCBs were pressed into the service in large numbers to get the possession of the land measuring around eight kanals.
