Kathua : Delhi Public School Junior, Kathua proudly hosted a Space and Science Activity Competition for Class 2 students, fostering a spirit of curiosity and innovation among our young learners. The event, held on campus, saw enthusiastic participation from the students, who showcased their knowledge and creativity through various presentations and activities.
Students delivered impressive speeches on diverse topics such as Mangalyaan, satellites, Earth, planets, and robots. Their enthusiasm and depth of knowledge were truly commendable. Some students demonstrated their crafted miniature rockets, explaining the basics of propulsion and aerodynamics. Creative models of satellites, space stations, and robots were displayed, highlighting the students’ understanding of space technology.
School Incharge Mrs. Monika Singh expressed her pride in the students’ efforts. “It is inspiring to see our young minds so passionate about space exploration. Their creativity and enthusiasm are a testament to their potential and our commitment to fostering a love for science.” On behalf of DPS Junior Kathua, Mrs. Monika Singh added, “This competition not only ignites their curiosity but also builds a strong foundation for future scientific endeavors. I commend the students for their hard work and creativity.” She gave a special thanks to the parents who supported and encouraged the children throughout the preparation process. Their involvement played a significant role in making the event a success.
Miss Tripti, the Class 2 teacher, emphasized the importance of hands-on learning experiences. “These activities make science fun and accessible for young learners. It’s crucial to nurture their interest in science from an early age, and this competition has been a fantastic way to do that.”
