Yudhvir Sethi, J&K BJP Vice President criticized Rahul Gandhi, former Congress President for misleading people of the country by giving irrelevant statements on Twitter. Calling Rahul Gandhi as the irresponsible person, Sethi asked the Congress leader to deescalate his politics of misinformation and propaganda in targeting the BJP Government over the martyrdom of Indian soldiers in a clash with Chinese troops in the Galwan Valley in Eastern Ladakh.“Yet, the Congress is playing petty politics. High time they think of national interest and stop misleading people,” Sethi said in a statement issued here today, Yudhvir Sethi said Rahul Gandhi’s lack of faith in the Central Government in these times has shown how irresponsible he is and he (Gandhi) should realise that when he speaks against the Prime Minister, it is not against an individual man, but against the leader of the country.“The Prime Minister, Narendra Modi is not merely a person or is of a party but he represents the entire country,” Sethi said, slamming Gandhi for his immature and irresponsible tweets. Sethi asserted that the Prime Minister has already cleared that there will be no compromise with Indian territorial integrity, adding that Rahul Gandhi had does not trust the Prime Minister over this issue. He maintained that Rahul Gandhi had also cast doubts on surgical strikes and air strikes against terrorists inside Pakistan. Sethi mentioned that while Prime Minister Narendra Modi brought together all the Chief Ministers by taking them into confidence for a constructive and collective fight against Covid-19, Sonia Gandhi who was allegedly trying to divide the country by talking to Congress CMs separately.“The whole world is praising the efforts of the Prime Minister Narendra Modi in fight against COVID-19. We should all be together in this fight. If the Congress cannot help the country, it should at least not try to weaken its fight against coronavirus,” he asserted. Slamming the Congress, Sethi said that in these tough times all political parties should stand together and be part of nation development and fight coronavirus rather than doing petty party politics. Yudhvir Sethi asserted that BJP is the only party which has ‘will and spine’ to protect national interest unlike its opponent parties which never miss a chance to make compromise just for the sake of handful of votes.
