Jammu, August 13 : Government Degree College Khour organized Pledge ceremony on 13 th August 2024 at 11:45 am to celebrate Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan (NMBA) under the theme “Viksit Bharat Ka Mantra, Bharat Ho Nashe Se Swatantra”. Around 40 students participated in the pledge taking ceremony alongwith teaching/non- teaching staff of the College. In his brief address, Principal Prof. Dr. T K Sharma motivated the gathering to have sense of commitment in themselves to create a drug free environment in their surroundings so that youth can be empowered to lead healthier and more productive lives. The whole event was coordinated by Lt. Shivani Sharma ANO NCC and Prof. Himanshu Khajuria, NSS PO. Dr. Chetan Sharma, HOD Physics Prof. Khalid Sajad Bohra, HOD History, Prof. Sunil Kumar, HOD Urdu, Dr. Deepti Gupta, HOD Sociology and Mr. Sunil Kumar PTI were also present in the event.
