S. Manjit Singh concerned over poor implementation of civic-works in Bari Brahmana

Samba July 30 : Continuing the public outreach program across the district, the Apni Party Provincial President, Jammu, and Former Minister, S. Manjit Singh has expressed concern over poor implementation of civic-works in Bari Brahmana.

“The state in which the people have been forced to live is inhuman, and intolerable without proper roads, and basic amenities,” said S. Manjit Singh, while speaking at a meeting in ward number 13, Municipal Committee, Bari Brahmana in Samba District.

The Former Minister was accompanied by Ex-Corporator, Shamsher Chand.

The participants in the meeting informed about their displeasure over the ignorant attitude of the authorities, and respective departments which are responsible for developing the infrastructure.

Addressing the meeting, the Former Minister expressed his concern, while assuring that the people will not be left helpless, and voiceless as the Party is committed to work for their overall development.

“We are committed to ensure equitable development in all the regions of Jammu as well as Kashmir. The administration has disappointed the people with their autocratic attitude,” he said.

The circumstances have widened the gap between the people and the administration that showcases the failure of the Govt to work for the public welfare, he added.

On the other hand, he said that the people are also concerned over the weakening of an elected Govt in Jammu and Kashmir with the empowerment of the Governor of J&K.

“The statehood restoration of J&K is must as well as the full empowerment of the elected Govt following the assembly elections that are proposed to be held in the erstwhile state,” he stated.
