Jammu, July 22 : Today Urban Forestry Division Jammu and local police conducted plantation drive in Bahu Fort Temple , Jammu. An official said that due to the terror of monkeys, we have protected every plant. He also informed that Urban Forestry Division Jammu has already conducted plantation drive at important places in Jammu.
DFO Ashwani Bhagat, SHO Vijay Kumar, SI Lekhraj were present in this campaign. Let us tell you that in continuation of its outreach tree plantation program in Jammu city, Urban Forestry Division Jammu organized a massive tree plantation drive in Bahu Fort under the theme ‘Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam’. In the said tree plantation ceremony, Peepal, Rudraksh as well as various types of ornamental, shady and avenue trees were planted. It is worth mentioning that Urban Forestry Division Jammu has organized many such tree plantation drives in Jammu city area from 1st July 2024 and with the onset of monsoon. This year Urban Forestry Division Jammu has laid special focus on creating wide awareness in Jammu about the importance of tree plantation drive and the Division is committed to it.
