Vijaypur : On the occasion of the day of “Implementation of three New Criminal Laws” in the country, Police Technical Training Institute (PTTI) Vijaypur organized a general awareness programme at the Institute by inviting guests including locals/ respectables/youth of the area and trainees in order to aware them about these laws. The programme was organized on the directions of J&K Police Headquarters with an objective to apprise the general public about the key features and advantages of new Criminal Laws recently promulgated by the Central Govt.
The programme was presided over by Shri Zia-ul-Haq, DySP PTTI Vijaypur who in his address, told that motive behind organizing such programme is to spread awareness among the general public regarding the implementation of all the three new Criminal Laws viz., Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita and Bharatiya Sakshya Adhiniyam. After short briefing by the officer on the subject, Inspr. Ram Lal and Inspr. Surrinder Singh of PTTI Vijaypur speaks on the occasion and delivered an impressive lectures to the guests/trainees focusing on understanding the New Criminal Laws.
The programme ended in a very cordial atmosphere and the presiding officer thanked all the visiting guests for spearing their time for attending the programme at the Institute.
