An interactive session was organised with Gujjar & Bakarwals at PirTopa, district Rajouri. During the interaction session, the gathering was briefed about the Development Projects undertaken by Indian Army for the overall development of the remote area of Pir Topa. They were also educated about various Govt initiatives for their welfare schemes. Integrated Rural Development Programme (IRDP), Drought Prone Area Programme (DPAP), Nehru Rozgar Yojana (NRY) and Prime Minister’s Integrated Urban Poverty Eradication Programme (PMUIPEP).
An officer of the Indian Army addressed the gathering and assured them of all possible guidance and assistance from Indian Army for their future endeavours. Good wishes were also conveyed to the residents of PirTopa on behalf of the Indian Army.
